The main city of Illinois offers plenty to do, whether you’re looking to visit, or planning to make Chicago your new home. The Chicago Air and Water Show is a free show every August that showcases the Navy Blue Angels, but if you want to spend some money, the Magnificent Mile is a one-mile stretch of land that hosts 460 shops. The Chicago Cultural Center hosts numerous shows throughout the year, but no visit to Chicago would be complete without taking in a show at the world famous Apollo Theater.
