British Virgin Islands

Soccer in the British Virgin Islands was first formally organized in 1973, and only affiliated to FIFA in 1996. In addition to CONCACAF it is a member of the Caribbean Football Union and competes for the Caribbean Nations Cup. Its best international result came in 2001 when it beat Puerto Rico to advance to the preliminary rounds of the Caribbean Nations Cup tournament.
