It is important to make a distinction between Rehabilition in general and Rehabilitation Psychology/Counseling. Often, the one thing that gets overlooked in Rehabilitation is the psychology or counseling component. People are left to deal with incredibly traumatic, life-changing events, like the loss of mobility, without any psychological counseling.
