The economy is dominated by mineral, timber, and agricultural production, with some tourism to areas such as Glacier National Park. Montana has a significant Native American population, including elements of the Blackfoot, Sioux, Shoshone, Arapaho, Cheyenne, and other peoples displaced by American settlement.
