- Dudley (including Stourbridge and Halesowen)

- Walsall
- Wolverhampton
The metropolitan area should not be confused with the West Midlands Region. The latter comprises the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Worcestershire, together with the West Midlands Metropolitan area.
