Coscarelli, DonThis category houses both professional and fan pages devoted to the African born filmmaker and screenwriter Don Coscarelli. Born in Tripoli, Libya, North Africa on 17th February 1954, and raised in southern California, he is best known for the creation of the "Phantasm" and "Beatmaster" movie series. At the age of 19, he sold his independently produced film "Jim The World's Greatest" (1976) to Universal Pictures, making him one of the youngest ever directors to have a feature film distributed by a major studio.
