Home » Arts » Literature » Festivals Festivals Literature festivals vary tremendously in their formats, but all have in common a wish to celebrate literature and literacy. Typically, a festival will be spread over more than one day and will include readings from authors, book sales, workshops and signings. Some festivals concentrate on "great" literature, others focus on the literature of a particular part of the world, others again may focus on children's literature or more accessible, everyday books.
